This Bud's Not For You

Tropical Depression 2-E finally formed, but it's going to be too close to the coast to have any time to become Tropical Storm Bud. So the name Bud will have to wait for some other storm. Since this storm is going to make landfall, rather than staying offshore as Aletta did, there will be much heavier rainfall in the mountains from this storm. Flash flooding and landslides could be an issue, even though the 30 mph winds from 2-E are no big threat.
